Next Tuesday 26th September we will be at the Business Leadership Summit at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel, London.
We are going to be releasing the research ‘Microsoft Word in law firms – Are client relationships compromised by inadequate investment in Word?’ We worked with The Lawyer Research Service to ensure the research was independent and rigorously carried out.
Everyone saw Word as a critical tool and yet that wasn’t matched by a commitment to invest in Word or get the most out of it.
If you’re going to the Summit we’ll have copies available and will be discussing it at our round table.
Otherwise if you’d like to get in touch we can email you a copy.

Converting numbered legal documents, such as an agreement, into house style is probably a frequent task for most law firms. However Murphy’s law suggests that when you are at your busiest you will find yourself dealing with the most problematic document.
With a single click Brochet Paste can convert, restyle and repair a 30 page document in less than two minutes.
If you want to check it out for yourself send a copy of your file to Nikki (email: nikki@brochet.co.uk) and she’ll be happy to show you. You can watch via Webex.
Alternatively bring your file on a memory stick to our stand, A14, at British Legal Technology Forum on Tuesday March 14th and put Brochet Paste through its paces. For those of you who bring a file we’ll put you in to a lunchtime draw to win a bottle of Vincent Brochet champagne.
If you use Adobe InDesign the normal comment on Microsoft Word is: IT’S RUBBISH. For our money that is normally the response of someone who hasn’t stopped to consider the differences.
Thank you to everyone who joined our roundtable at the Business Leadership Summit run by the Lawyer last week. Read More
We are looking forward to hosting a round table discussion on marketing and branding at the The Lawyer Business Leadership Summit & Awards 28-29 Sept 2016.
Do come along and join us and share your experience of extending branding across the firm.
We are delighted to announce that we are now working with MJ Hudson, the specialist law firm for the alternative assets industry, who are implementing Brochet Legal templates and incorporating Brochet Paste. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship between our two organisations and helping MJ Hudson produce, edit work with all their legal documents. As a result documents will be more accurate and professional and will be produced faster and more simply by fee earners and legal secretaries.
We’ve added a case study about Bond Dickinson’s upgraded legal template system. The article has also been published on LSN (Legal Support Network).
In our training sessions we often advise users not to copy the last paragraph maker when copying and pasting between documents.
What is it about the last paragraph marker that makes it so special? Read More
